It’s not looking like much of a contest between the top-ranked Seattle Seahawks and the 32nd-ranked Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday at CenturyLink field. Unless it comes down to a contest of ugliest uniforms. Then we’ve got a real barn burner in store for us. This is one game that would be better observed on the radio. My latest article for Oregon Sports News covers this Sunday’s lopsided game that heavily favors the Seahawks. Many Seahawks fans have already chalked this one up to an easy win — should they?

Just started following your work on Oregon Sports News (and here on your blog). Good stuff. I can’t say I agree with you on the Seahawks playoff victory over the Saints being as ludicrous as the Jaguars stealing a win on Sunday, though. Admittedly, I’m a Seahawks fan. But the 12th man was in its element that day and the Saints D was historically terrible.
However, I do agree with you that Seahawks fans and sports media outlets are WAY overhyping this team. You write for OSN… I’m sure you’re well aware of the constant media attention and obnoxious fan craziness. As a fan myself, I kinda wish people would temper expectations just a BIT. Anyway, you got a new follower and keep up the good work.

Thanks very much for the feedback. I made the closing remark about the Seahawks’ victory over the Saints purely as an “anything can happen” warning. Seattle’s playoff win was a much bigger deal, but this Sunday’s game poses an even worse matchup. I don’t think Jacksonville has the offensive firepower to break through the Seahawks defense. It would take a major letdown on the part of Seattle to lose this game. Enjoy! And thanks for checking in on OSN and my blog.
